Poetic Licence is all about a fresh take on vintage English design. The collection is perpetually playful in bright colors, unique textures, and adventurous accents

Poetically speaking, a change is in the air as we put our hearts and soles into our new dress casual collection. Quirkier, softer, and more comfy, Poetic Licence takes a romantic spin on the current trends with vintage leathers and suedes.

The spirit of Poetic Licence is a celebration of the unique personalities of woman of all ages. Live and love fashion the Poetic way.

From our designer:

"The footwear trend direction this season shows in all trend stories some degree of surrealism. What is considered normal is being redefined; luxury classic and sporty casual is a right way to give a new fresh look to traditional shapes like pumps, loafers, lace ups, and booties.

The mood for PL is “ladylike with a touch of punk anarchy”, including overt references to retrò styling culled from the 1940s and ‘50s with a nod to the ‘80s of Cindy Lauper in “Girls Just Want to Have Fun”. Mid-height heel, but stacked a little sexy in shape, complete the couture look. I hope you enjoy what’s coming for the upcoming season."

Love the variety of visual textures and colors

“Poetic License has become my go to store for shoes. I love the variety of visual textures and colors. There shoes have a range between somewhat normal to OMG, I think those are runway shoes. They are worth the investment!”

Positively different

“I love this shoe. It is soooo adorable and so positively different from any other shoe that I own or have even seen. I absolutely love the color combination and they make my feet look smaller which for me is a great thing. I am absolutely thrilled to find such a cute, stylish shoe in my size. Its not truly my size.”
